Meditative Witness, Wednesdays

Our silent meditative practice is an opportunity to work with challenging energies around the suffering caused by ICE in our community, in our world, and in our hearts. Our aspiration is not to judge the people who work in the building, but to sit in witness to the attitudes and policies that cause suffering.

SIGNS: We hold signs which identify the ICE Federal Data Center and invite ICE workers and passersby alike to join us. If you choose to bring a sign, we ask that your messages respectfully raise questions about ICE’s policies and actions, and convey our support for migrants, and their right to fair and legal treatment.

WHEN: Every Wednesday 4:00-5:00 pm

WHERE: 188 Harvest Lane (across the street)

PARKING: East Rise Credit Union (just past the ICE buildings)

WHAT TO BRING:

• Bench, chair, cushion or standing

• Weather-appropriate clothing
