Stand Against ICE in Maple Tree Place

Where: DHS/ICE Debt Services 166 Sycamore St Williston

When: Monday August 31st 12:00pm - 1:00PM

  • Join friends and neighbors in standing against ICE at the DHS/ICE Debt Management Center in Williston. ICE is using fines as a way to harass and intimidate immigrants into self-deporting, including individuals with active cases pending and legal authorization to work.

  • Bring an American flag, or bring signs relating to ICE - their overreach, their aggressive tactics, their human rights violations. We want the community to know that ICE has offices in multiple locations in Williston.

  • All participants share responsibility of keeping this event peaceful and safe. Do not engaging negatively with those who disagree with us. And please follow the directions of the safety marshals in yellow or orange vests

  • WED is committed to peaceful and safe demonstrations. Please defer to Safety Marshal’s instructions and endeavor to de-escalate any confrontations.

  • Help us inform passers-by that ICE operates in our neighborhood, and voice your opposition to ICE’s brutal tactics, lack of identification or body cams, and their total disregard for due process.
