Migrant Justice has transformed the lives of the immigrant community in Vermont, leading to changes barely imagined when the organization was formed. Our work has changed the social and political landscape of the state and served as an example for communities around the country in their fights for human rights and economic justice.
American Civil Liberties Union — Vermont
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Vermont defends and advances civil liberties for all people across a broad range of constitutionally protected rights and freedoms. Founded in 1967 and based in Montpelier, the ACLU of Vermont is the statewide affiliate of the national ACLU, an organization with a presence in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington, DC.

Indivisible’s national team leads strategy, supports activists, builds partnerships, and drives campaigns to stop right-wing takeover and build an inclusive democracy.
VAAP
Vermont Asylum Assistance Project (VAAP) is a legal services and technical assistance organization that exists to raise Vermont noncitizens’ awareness of and access to critical immigration legal help and support.
